Hey, there, I’m Sabrina.
I write novels, paint & craft, drink coffee & Dr. Pepper Zero, raise children, love my husband, adore my pets, love a good story, and am terrible at keeping house.
I live in a semi-rural town just outside of Austin, TX. If you blink going down the highway, you will miss it.
I am on the city council in the town that I live in. I also chair a local non-profit.
I have two kids, one husband, and five animals. And yes, I gave you counts.
I’ve been telling stories since I could talk and writing stories since I learned how to write.
I am an avid crafter and have a small handmade items store.
I have a degree in Psychology but work at a Network Security software company.
I’ve been friends with my best friend since I was 6 (30 years this year). I’m considered an old or elder millennial. Figure out the math :)
I grew up in a small town in Texas on a 20-acre ranch. We had cows, pigs, chickens, horses, and even a rodeo arena.
Small rural towns are the inspiration for my stories. The town I grew up in now has a population of 60k people!
I collect Nutcracker figurines and Monopoly games.
I am the founder of a well-known Mother’s Group in Austin, Texas. It is the best one in my opinion.
As with any creative, I drink too much coffee, cuss too loud, and love chaos. I have to deal with the household I have.
I have written four novels and countless short stories. Zero of those have been published, but I hope my current novel will be my debut.
If I could, I think I would have stayed in college forever. I enjoy learning. I consider myself a lifelong student.
At 19, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, and at 25, with Borderline Personality Disorder. I am an advocate for mental health and neurodiversity awareness.
As a writer, you would think that it is super easy to create an about me page. But you would be mistaken. I can tell you all of the interesting characters in my stories, but I feel like I’m a bit boring. Do you know what I mean? So to sound exciting and tell you who I am, I will share some fun facts about me!
Maybe I’m not as boring as I thought? Thanks for getting to know me! I can’t wait to share my stories with you.
